PAWSitive Character ā€“ Showing Respect, Making Good Decisions, and Solving Problems

Each trimester, Hunt Elementary School staff and students pause to celebrate PAWS - Positive Attitudes Will Succeed.  Over 130 students were recognized for their PAWSitive Character at two assemblies on Tuesday, December 5.  Parents and guests of the recipients were invited to attend and celebrate all our students.  Student Council Vice President, Cheyenne Murphy, opened the event with the flag salute and school pledge.  Students were selected by their teachers, other school staff, and classmates to receive specific recognitions.  Teachers composed personalized messages about each students’ character.  In addition to PAWSitive Character, Mr. Huson recognized students for their efforts in reading to meet their goals and improve their overall reading comprehension skills.  The next PAWSitive Character Recognition Assembly will take place at the end of Trimester 2 in March 2018.
