Highlander Families,

As you may know, last December we surveyed our students to measure student perceptions of teaching and learning, culture and climate, and student experience in the classroom and school. Puyallup School District values input from our community, and students are important partners as we work to improve our communication, academic program and overall experience for everyone.

We are writing today to share results from this survey! We hope that sharing this data will provide you with more information to support your child’s growth and development. Research affirms that engaging families in student learning is critically important in successful student outcomes. Also, most parents report that they are eager to learn more about how they can support their children's learning.

With that in mind, please take a few moments to review the attached document containing our school results from the survey. In Puyallup, we are reflecting on our strengths and areas for growth based on the aggregate data, and will be using this to inform initiatives we will be putting into place next year.
